We’re all out here in B.C. suffering through a heatwave, and if you’re like me (and many others in the lower mainland) you don’t have A.C. To combat the heat, I’m wearing pretty much exclusively white, breezy, and sheer clothes in an effort to ward off the possibility of heat stroke.

Not only is wearing white functional – it’s also one of the biggest trends of the summer. I paired this breezy and ultra-feminine Zara dress with my most comfortable pair of sneakers to keep my feet happy while I’m looking for the nearest ice cream shop with functional A.C. I love pairing girlie dresses with sneakers to dress them down just a little bit.
